La fondazione si propone di salvaguardare e promuovere le condizioni economiche e sociali della popolazione di Cerentino e Campo (Vallemaggia). A tale fine essa: promuove con ogni mezzo idoneo la valorizzazione del territorio dei Comuni, in particolare del patrimonio edificato esistente; promuove lo sviluppo equilibrato dell'agricoltura e della selvicoltura; favorisce lo sviluppo di un turismo rispettoso dei valori paesaggistici e delle esigenze della popolazione residente; ricerca e tramanda le tecnologie di lavori tradizionali.
